We are seeking an experienced Account Executive based in the Southeast United States with strong relationships within the Utility industry which can be translated into business growth and strategic advantage. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will build on our significant customer growth as we further expand our presence within the Smart Grid market. This is a Home -Telecommute based position in the Southeast United States ideally located within the Tennessee Valley (TN, AL, KY, GA, MS).
This is a critical, quota-retiring direct sales position responsible as the lead point of engagement with our existing accounts and prospects within the assigned territory. directly identifying and closing prospective defined accounts, build and manage relationships, develop, lead and execute account strategy and continue cultivating existing customer accounts in the fast pace Smart Grid and Clean-Tech space. You will be responsible for selling Smart Grid products/services to primarily Public Utility Power Companies. Duties will include:
Ø Exceed Bookings Targets.
Ø Identify, qualify and close new accounts.
Ø Develop and lead, along with the Inside Sales and Field Operations team, the strategic account plans aimed at accelerating deployment at existing customer accounts.
Ø Develop a comprehensive territory plan and applicable account pursuit plans, and execute those plans to grow market presence, revenue, and customer count.
Ø Work with the inside sales team to generate and close qualified sales leads.
Ø Work with the proposal team to screen and win customer specific RFI/RFP’s for qualified opportunities.
Ø Develop, lead and execute account strategies for each account including but not limited to a detailed assessment of key stakeholders, decision makers, win strategy and action plan.
Ø Lead pursuit team and strategy sessions to leverage internal resources aimed at exceeding both the needs of the company and the account.
Ø Maintain relevant customer data in CRM sales pipeline, and other business tools.
Ø Participate as key member of the Account Team for every customer deploying our product in assigned region.
Ø Extensive travel throughout assigned region to call on existing accounts and prospective clients in the pursuit of new orders that will generate revenue sufficient to achieve annual target.
Ø Professionally represent the company in all internal as well as customer facing interactions, whether in person, over the phone, or via electronic means such as e-mail.
Ø Understand industry trends, channels, products, and competitors to support identification of business development opportunities.
Ø Attend trade shows, meter schools and other pertinent events.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
1) Minimum of ten years experience selling complex, long-sales cycle, RFP based solutions. Utility industry experience is a plus and candidates with this experience will be considered first. Experience selling within the Southeast Public Power arena a plus.
2) Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited college
3) Successful track record developing relationships and closing new business that involved delivery of complex solutions. Experience selling to electric utility clients, ideally focused on AMR/AMI or smart grid applications.
4) Effectively interact, communicate and present at the Executive level
5) Proven and demonstrated ability to leverage a key account strategy to drive internal resource allocation, develop a comprehensive strategy to win an account and drive next steps in order to move a deal through a qualification process through to closure.
6) Proven leadership for a diverse internal team to create ‘out of the box’ solutions
7) Proven ability to manage partner and customer relationships with a track record of delivering incremental, profitable business within target accounts
8) Strong Value-Added-Selling skills with the ability to understand and design system solutions of a complex nature.

CTO - Electric motor and generator technology
offers a family of electric motors and generators that are today serving the electric/hybrid electric vehicle, Wind Turbine and power generation and industrial application markets. The Chief Technology Officer (“CTO”) is a hands-on, senior management position which will turn a current manufacturing operation into a Center of Excellence Design Facility. The CTO will be responsible for building and leading a highly qualified team to effectively, efficiently and accurately design and develop high quality permanent magnet motors, and electric motor technologies within the 4 -200kW markets.
The CTO is responsible for bringing concepts and products from conceptualization to launch and throughout the product life cycle. You will work closely with the Company’s Sales and Operations departments as well as with customers, including multinational OEMs, to design products that meet their specific requirements and integrate with their products and systems as well as oversee manufacturing operations in Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
• Participate as a member of the senior management team in leading product development from initial business case through technical development and design, programming, testing, documentation and integration.
• Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain the product road map and technology plan that supports customer requirements in accordance with overall Company goals and objectives.
• Develop and communicate product technology alignment plans to executive team, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
• Establish overall departmental goals and objectives that meet the requirements of the Company’s product roadmap, and regularly monitor progress against them. REQUIREMENTS

Operations Manager - Solar PV
I have a great opportunity for an Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of a growing Solar PV installation process for residential, commercial and governmental roof-top, pole and ground mount systems. Our client has doubled their revenue each year and is looking for a successful manager to oversee the operations of this successful System Integrator.
Solar PV projects range from 5kw to 1mw.
This position reports directly to the president of the company and supervises 10 or more solar technicians on a daily basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Solar PV Installations:
a. Oversee and manage all solar PV installations of company, subcontractors and vendors while ensuring safety, client satisfaction and quality installations consistent with company standards.
b. Develop a Master Plan approach for operations.
c. Cooperate with project management and maintain open lines of communication regarding matters concerning project budget, productivity, change orders, quality control and customer satisfaction.
d. Establish relations with consistent high quality and dependable subcontractor. Especially backhoe, skid steer auger, and concrete company.
e. Manage project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budget. Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all crew activities. Schedule all daily and weekly scope of work activities.
f. Coordinate the construction of multiple projects simultaneously.
g. Ensure quality craftsmanship of all installations and perform frequent quality assurance and quality control inspections.
h. Coordinate all required jurisdictional inspections, and maintain good working relationships with inspectors and utilities.
i. Ensure accurate and complete cost coding of all time sheets on a daily/weekly basis. Review, sign-off and forward time sheets to payroll administrator as required.
j. Set, obtain and monitor installation goals to improve efficiency of operations.
k. Independently manage performance, productivity and attendance records of crew members.
l. Practice, promote, and develop mentoring and maintain and oversee training to all crew members.
m. Supervise and maintain quality workforce.
n. Oversee warehouse and shop activities.
o. Coordinate incoming materials shipments with installation start date.
p. Oversee procurement and manage inventory levels of solar and electrical supplies.
q. Requisition, maintain and account for tools, materials and equipment.
r. Directly responsible for safety of all company personnel and in particular for work crew and equipment during all job site work.
s. Comply with all OSHA reporting requirements.
t. Ensure and maintain vehicle fleet.

Requirements:
· 7+ years supervisory (20 - 30 people) experience in electrical and/or solar PV construction technology. Solar PV experience is highly desirable but not required.
· A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent technical training education or training is preferred but not required
· Able to specify, configure, install, inspect, troubleshoot and maintain a solar PV system that meets the performance and reliability needs of customer, incorporates quality craftsmanship, and complies with all applicable safety codes and standards.
· Strong understanding of the NEC Code (especially Article 690) and the ability to reference the code as required.
· NABCEP preferred not required.
· Competence per OSHA regulations.
· Obtain OSHA 30 hour certification.
· Master, Supervisor, or Journeyman license in electrical trade preferred.
· Strong understanding of electrical wiring, theory and the trade – bending pipe, sizing conduit, sizing wire, working with power distribution centers, calculating voltage drop.
· Advanced knowledge of construction technology, methods, tools, equipment, and procedures.
· Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
· Experience installing or project managing solar PV or electrical construction projects.
· Knowledge of Universal Building Codes and building materials and techniques (i.e. lumber, roofing materials, etc.) preferred.
· Ability to read, understand and edit electrical and structural plans.
· Strong leadership skills – Proficient, effective, and productive skills to manage multiple large crews of craftsmen and the ability to organize, utilize and motivate team members quickly to respond to changes in the construction schedule.
· Good at problem solving and implementing site-specific design modifications.
· Proficiency on a PC computer in MS Office (Emphasis on Excel, Outlook).
· Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
· Random out of town travel required.
