Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Truck/Bus Industry
Senior Electrical Design Engineer for commercial vehicle manufacturer. Rid yourself of the cubicle Dilbert Syndrome and work on a variety of custom designs in vehicular manufacturing. Variety is the common denominator as the Sr. EE; you will be working on anything from I/O programming, creation of schematics and harnesses, designs for Information Transportation Systems, Alternative and Hybrid vehicles, surveillance systems, to new control schemes for existing systems and new product integration/existing product optimization.

You will be a key member of the engineering team for the leading transportation manufacturing business. -Experience in Performing a wide variety of calculations and software aided analysis related to EMI, Antenna Locations, Power consumption, tolerance analysis, noise and vibration, battery technology, NFPA-70, APTA Bus Procurement Guidelines, CR47, FMVSS, J-1939, motor controls, etc. to support design decisions.
Experience using software such as Allison DOC, Cummins Insite, and CAN based tools in design and problem resolution.

-Highly developed project management skills, leadership ability, independence and initiative.
-Highly developed level of Electrical Engineering aptitude and expertise.

-Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required plus
-5 years of Heavy Duty Vehicle experience required.

Calibration Engineer - Automotive

What you will do:

• Working knowledge of SAE J1979.

PRODUCT ENGINEER -ALTERNATIVE FUEL
Exciting Junior-level Engineering opportunity to make a difference in the growing alternative fuels industry. Summary of Tasks:

Automated Machine Designer – NGV Fuel Systems Manufacturing
Seeking an Automated Machine Designer to design and create integrated manufacturing assembly and test systems for deployment into a light industrial manufacturing environment.

The position requires a self-motivated/self-directed individual who will work with Design Engineering personnel and Operations personnel to successfully launch new products; maintain and improve existing products and manufacturing processes, focusing on efficiency and quality of results. Though not a supervisory position per se, a successful candidate will be capable of directing a small group of support personnel effectively.
What you will do:
• Develop automated machine requirement specifications, system concepts, CAD generated machine layouts, detail drawings, and BOM’s based upon performance requirements provided from Design Engineering personnel.
• Participate in product development meetings and make recommendation for product design changes to enhance manufacturing and assembly.
• Meet with vendors to discuss assembly and equipment costs.
• Conduct design reviews during construction of assembly and test equipment; conduct proof of concept experiments and design of experiment tests.
• Install automation and transfer automation programs to production in a timely manner.
• Analyze process performance data and use production personnel input to drive process improvements and change.
• Develop SOP’s operation and maintenance manuals, set-up and calibration procedures.
• Mentor and direct skilled trades personnel to aid in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements.
• Familiarity with pneumatics a strong plus.
What we need from you:
• BSME or BSEE minimum.
• Five to seven year’s machine/manufacturing equipment design experience with demonstrated success in a “hands on” development/implementation environment.
• Experience using PLC.
• Experience programming with Labview
• Fluent in SolidWorks.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to present formal presentations to colleagues and management.
